A 6 week introductory pranayama course

How could learning about something as simple as breathing change my life?

The word pranayame is composed of ‘prana,’ meaning life force and ‘ayama’ which means to control or extend. Pranayama is a powerful practice that takes time to master yet you can begin to reap its benefits almost immediately.

Changes to breathing patterns can:

  • Decrease stress

  • Improve sleep quality

  • Improve lung function

  • Increase mindfulness

  • Reduce blood pressure

  • and make life more vivid!

In this 6 week course we will start at the very beginning. Each session will include guided relaxation, breathing techniques and time for discussion. The sessions are done lying down and seated (a chair can be used if sitting on the floor is not accessible.) All are welcome!

Each session will be recorded so you are able to repeat it as often as you like.

Breath is everything and as the connection between body and mind it is a tool for physical, emotional and mental change when harnessed in a gentle and mindful way.
