Poor Ms Goldenrod is often blamed for fall allergies, when it fact it is ragweed causing the sniffles. A perennial plant, goldenrod is a member of the Aster family and blooms exuberantly in the early fall on tall flowing stalks, when most other plants are quieting down.

Goldenrod is a strong decongestant and will dry up congestion caused by colds, flu, allergies and sinus problems. She is also warming so will help you to sweat out that cold.

As a diuretic, she also helps to flush out impurities by releasing excess water from the body and soothing the urinary tract for good kidney and bladder health.
